Telnase Nasal Spray contains the same active ingredient as Nasacort made by the same company, Aventis.

Telnase is a simple to use, once a day, non-drowsy nasal spray providing 24 hour relief from hayfever symptoms.

Telnase is highly effective for the relief of seasonal hayfever symptoms including:

• Sneezing
• Blocked nose
• Itchy nose
• Runny nose

Telnase Directions: Shake gently before use. Adults and children over 12 years of age: Start with TWO sprays into each nostril ONCE daily in the morning. Reduce to ONE spray into each nostril ONCE daily when symptoms are controlled.

Telnase Ingredients: Each spray contains:

• Triamcinolone Acetonide - 55mcg
• benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, purified water, glucose-anhydrous, cellulose-microcrystalline, polysorbate 80, carmellose sodium, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide

Telnase Precautions: Keep Telnase out of reach of children. Do NOT use Telnase if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients listed. Do NOT exceed the recommended dose. Discard Telnase bottle two months after first use. Do NOT use Telnase for more than six months without the advice from a healthcare professional.

Seek medical advice BEFORE using Telnase if you:

• are pregnant, are trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding
• have a nasal or sinus infection
• have recently had nasal ulcers, injury or surgery to your nose
• have been treated with steroid injections, taken steroid tablets, or use a steroid inhaler for asthma
• are taking any other medicines/have any medical conditions

Seek medical attention DURING use of Telnase if you:

• Develop signs or symptoms of infection, such as:
  • Fever, nasal or facial pain or swelling
  • Discoloured nasal discharge
  • Acute eye pain or visual disturbance
  • Bleeding from the nose
  • Headaches
• Experience side effects including:
  • Runny nose
  • Sneezing
  • Irritation inside the nose
  • Blocked nose
  • Sore throat
• Do not experience relief from your nasal symptoms after seven days
