Discover ONESTEP Pregnancy Test contains Sensorflow, which is highly sensitive to even low levels of the pregnancy hormone called human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (hCG).  The hormone hCG is produced from the moment you become pregnant, and it doubles every 36-48 hours until 8-10 weeks into your pregnancy.  The amount of hCG then stays high through the entire pregnancy and for 3 weeks after giving birth.  The level of hCG can also be high for up to 9 weeks if you have had a miscarriage or a termination

Early pre-natal care is essential to having a healthy pregnancy and baby, the first three months are the most important for your developing baby.  There are many things you can do to help the health of both you and the baby including maintaining a well-balanced diet, stopping smoking and avoiding alcohol consumption.  You need to see your doctor immediately for proper care and nutritional counselling once you discover you are pregnant.

Discover ONESTEP Pregnancy Test Directions:

1. You can test at any time of day, but generally your first morning urine will contain the highest level of hCG
2. Remove test stick from foil and take off the cap
3. The test can be done either of two ways:
   • Directly in your urine stream - Place only the absorbent sampler POINTING DOWNWARDS in the urine stream for FIVE SECONDS, with the Results window facing AWAY from your body and taking care not the get the test stick wet.
   • In a sample of your urine - Collect urine in a clean, dry container and dip just the absorbent sampler POINT DOWNWARDS into the sample for FIVE SECONDS
4. A Pink colour will start to move across the Results window to show that the test is working
5. Keep the absorbent sampler either pointing downwards or lieing flat while you wait for the results
6. Replace the cap (this is not necessary for the proper functioning of the test but the cap allows you to save the test to show the result to your partner and/or doctor)
7. Within THREE MINUTES the display will show your results:
   • TWO Pink Lines - If there are two pink lines this means that the test thinks you are pregnant.  One line may be lighter that the other, they do not need to match.  You need to now go to a doctor to have it confirmed.
   • ONE Pink Line - If there is only a single pink line this means that the test thinks you are NOT pregnant.  There will be NO trace of a second line.  If you are doing the test before your period is due, you should do a re-test on the day when it is due as the levels of hCG may not be high enough to be detected yet.
8. The results will stay on the test sticks Results window for TEN MINUTES.  Any changes to the Results window after this time should be ignored.
